Bot Rules

Keep in mind that all of the rules below are just general guidelines, we may offer exemptions or extra restrictions on a case-by-case basis.

1. Abide by Omniplex's Terms of Service, Discord's Terms of Service, Discord's API rate limits, and Discord's Developer Policies.
2. Must be online during review as well as public and invitable.
3. The main feature and majority of the commands must work.
4. Keep NSFW content (including, but not limited to, links that source to pornographic material) inside of NSFW channels.
5. May not include any seizure-inducing content (gifs, emojis).
6. Commands must only require permissions that the command being run needs (e.g. the kick command can only require the kick permission, as it's required to be used). Bots cannot require the Administrator permission for it to work.
7. Bots that generate accounts/gifts from other services (Uplay, Spotify, etc.) are not allowed and are also against the Discord ToS.
8. If the bot is an instance/fork of another bot, it must not be an unmodified instance or fork and must have a considerable amount of modification/addition/changes.
9. Must have a clear and obvious point of entry (e.g. a working help command) as well as a minimum of 7 working commands, excluding bots that serve a designated purpose.
10. Must not have any commands that are not working or are broken.
11. Terms referring to the sexualization of underage children cannot be used anywhere throughout your bot.
12. Must not have the sole intent of impersonating other bots.
13. Must not reward users for voting for a different bot.
14. Your bot must keep all owner commands locked to owners/developers (e.g. evals, status/presence commands, and any other commands that may lead to disclosure of sensitive information).
15. Bots with commands allowing a user to DM another user must either state the author or that it was anonymous, in addition to having a block or opt-out feature.
16. Should not be hosted on BDFD, Bot Ghost, or any other "copy paste" bot maker unless you have modified it and made it unique.
17. Bots should not have a series of repeated commands. Bots that have a designated purpose are fine, but bots that just repeat the same command over and over again with different ways of using them, in hopes of getting the bot approved, will be denied.
18. As per Discord's updated Terms of Service, bots should not offer or provide an invite-reward-based feature/system.
19. Any and all bots that allow users to download, stream, or otherwise share music through YouTube will be subject to a denial. YouTube music bots violate the YouTube, Discord, and Omniplex Terms of Service.
